Overview
Craneworks' Integrated Load Test System is a modular, interlocking test weight system designed to support load testing requirements for mobile cranes, mobile boat hoists, overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment. The system includes test weights, rigging equipment, manuals, and recommended test configurations, all in one fully deployable set.

- Patented Interlocking Design. Weights stack, interlock, and self-align, so they self-center when stacked.
- MIL-STD-209 Tie-Down Provisions. Four engineered tie-down points per weight allow multi-directional restraint
during transport. - Heavy Structural Steel Construction. Continuous welds and structural tubing on primary load-bearing members
improve durability and resistance to fatigue and separation. - Rounded Pick Points. Designed to accommodate lifting with the included rigging equipment.
- Permanently Welded ID Plates. Each weight is individually tool-marked with a unique serial number and weight, with
ID plates welded permanently to the unit. - Saltwater-Resistant Enamel Finish. Primed and painted for exposure to saltwater environments. Safety Yellow is
standard, with custom colors available. - Fully Interchangeable Components. All parts are identical and interchangeable across multiple sets, simplifying
logistics and support in the field.
Engineering & Standards
- Supports recommended load test configurations, including Main Hoist Max Capacity, Load Moment, Auxiliary Hoist, Max Line Pull, Main Hoist Overload, and Aux Hoist Overload.
- Centers of gravity are located at the center of each weight and clearly marked on every unit.
- Engineered per AISC theorems for shear and moment, with an estimated average floor contact pressure of 42 PSI based on two continuous structural tube contact surfaces (final value depends on bearing conditions and transport configuration).
- Designed for transportability per MIL–STD–1366, MIL–STD–209, and DTR 4500.9–R, and compliant with NAVFAC P–307 and NAVFAC P–300.
Certification & Documentation
- Calibrated and certified with a scale traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), accurate to within 2 percent per NAVFAC P–307. Individual certificates are provided for each weight.
- All rigging and shackles are designed, manufactured, and tested per NAVFAC P–307, with test certificates provided for each piece of equipment.
Product Support & Warranty
- Each set includes a three–volume product manual covering parts (complete breakdown, drawings, specifications, and replacement parts contacts), operation (stacking procedure and design limits), and service (long–term care), delivered in paper, compact disc, and electronic format.
- A five–year warranty, FOB Destination, covers parts failure and malfunction due to design, construction, workmanship, defects, or missing components. Component supplier warranties pass through to the customer at no charge; normal wear and improper use are excluded.
- Global technical and parts support is available, and all parts are identical and interchangeable across multiple sets for simplified in–field logistics.
